Power comes from a professionally built Ford 390 cubic-inch big-block V8, bored .060 over by ARP Engineering in Connecticut. Equipped with a Quick Fuel double-pumper carburetor and MSD ignition system, the engine delivers impressive performance and unmistakable big- block sound. A brand-new Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission puts the power to the ground through an independent Jaguar rear suspension with 3.54 gears. A safety rev limiter is set at 5,500 RPM for added engine protection.
The cockpit combines authentic Cobra styling with modern usability. Real leather seats are mounted on adjustable slider tracks to accommodate taller drivers, while Smith's gauges provide a period-correct appearance. Comfort features include a functioning heater, defroster, dropped foot boxes for additional legroom, and hidden USB and 12-volt charging outlets.
Built on ERA's renowned heavy-duty chassis, this Cobra weighs approximately 2,600 pounds and features a fully structural integrated roll bar, multi-point harness seat belts, aluminum radiator, aluminum transmission cooler, and a 19-gallon aluminum fuel tank with built-in drain plug.
