This 1950 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 Ton Pickup Truck is an outstanding example of a classic American workhorse that has been extensively upgraded and transformed into a high-quality custom street truck. Finished in a deep burgundy wine exterior with tasteful airbrush graphics, this truck delivers show-level presentation while offering modern performance, comfort, and drivability. Under the hood sits a strong-running 350 CID V8 engine topped with a Demon 4-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, and ball-milled aluminum air cleaner. The engine bay is exceptionally detailed, featuring polished stainless steel water pipes, a polished aluminum overflow reservoir, anodized fuel line fittings, Summit fuel pressure regulator with gauge, chrome valve covers with breathers, Taylor spark plug wires, chrome alternator, serpentine belt drive, electric cooling fan, and a fully smoothed and filled firewall. Ceramic-coated exhaust headers feed a side-exit dual exhaust system for an aggressive yet refined sound. Power is delivered through a 3-speed automatic transmission, controlled by a billet floor shifter, and sent to a Ford 9-inch rear end. The chassis has been thoroughly upgraded with tubular A-arms, 2-inch drop spindles, power rack-and-pinion steering, power steering, four-link rear suspension with adjustable coil-over shocks, and power four-wheel disc brakes. A frame-mounted dual-reservoir brake booster provides confident stopping performance. The exterior retains classic 3100 styling with modern touches, including a painted front bumper, chrome grille, LED turn signals, shaved door handles with poppers, hidden door hinges, one-piece window glass, and a custom roll pan. The truck rides on 15-inch wheels with trim rings and hubcaps, wrapped in brand new Cooper Cobra white letter radial tires. Inside, the custom upholstered interior is finished in red and white and blends vintage charm with modern convenience. Features include bucket seats with seat belts, red carpeting, custom headliner and visors, billet pedals, white-faced gauges, an ididit chrome tilt steering column with aluminum drop bracket, Budnik burlwood steering wheel, power windows, and a Kenwood multimedia stereo with Bluetooth connectivity and center console speakers. The oak cargo bed is equally impressive, featuring a custom oak bed floor with polished stainless steel runners, an in-bed fuel filler, and excellent overall fit and finish. This truck is an excellent example of a 72-year-old 1/2 ton pickup that has been dramatically improved from its original condition.
