Born a real-deal factory 409 car with the desirable 409/425 horsepower setup and 4.10 rear gears, this Impala comes with its original owner’s manual, confirming its pedigree and making it an extremely special piece of muscle car history. Finished in Ermine White with fresh new paint, this Impala presents beautifully, retaining its timeless factory color. Inside, the car features its original Red Bucket Seat interior, including original carpet—still in excellent survivor condition—preserving the authentic feel of the era. Under the hood, you'll find a show-quality engine bay housing a professionally built 409 cubic inch V8 that delivers an exhilarating 425 horsepower. This engine was a no-expense-spared build totaling over $17,000 alone, combining period-correct power with reliable modern performance. The car also features high-performance exhaust manifolds, a new radiator, fan shroud, bell housing, and a new exhaust system that delivers the unmistakable sound only a 409 can make. This Impala retains all of its original sheet metal, and the original interior is in exceptional condition for its age. Over $6,000 was invested in new trim, with a careful balance of original and restored pieces to maintain its survivor charm. The car also features new brakes, new shocks, and rides on original wheels, giving it a confident, smooth ride with a strong stance. The history adds to the intrigue: the original 409 engine blew in 1967. The car was then stored in a barn until 1984, when it was revived with a 327 to get it back on the road. Now restored with a correct-spec 409 engine and upgraded components, it’s once again the powerhouse it was born to be.
