In the end, we chose to preserve the car's legacy by refinishing it in its correct Color Code 75 Cranberry Red using a high-quality professional paint job. Under the functional Cowl Induction hood sits a freshly refreshed period-correct 396 cubic inch big block V8 producing 350 horsepower. The engine was recently gone through and performs exceptionally well, delivering the unmistakable sound, torque, and excitement that made Chevrolet's big block Chevelles legendary. Power is transferred through a desirable Muncie 4-speed manual transmission to a rugged 12-bolt rear axle carrying the correct CCF code with 3.31 gears and Posi-Traction, providing the perfect balance of highway cruising and spirited performance.
